02 I will not write batcest (I won't even go near it or any incest/pseudo-incest type ship). I don't write non-con/dub-con (it can be implied in threads but nothing else), and I reserve the right to turn you away if I am uncomfortable with your writing. If this rule in particular is ignored, I will block you immediately.

03 You must be 18+ to write with me, I am 28+ years old so I have chosen to become an 18+ blog only. Just to avoid any issues. Don't lie about your age to by pass this rule.

04 Don't force ships on me. I ship with chemistry, if our characters click, I am more than happy to do so. I am willing to do pre-established ships. I am open to doing platonic ships more than I am romantic ones, I like to rp/get to know the mun a bit before exploring the romance/NSFW options between characters.

05 I have very few triggers. Self-harm and suicidal ideation are my biggest and I ask kindly that you tag and/or double check with me before putting it into a reply. And please do not go too heavy into graphic details involving gore, this is less of a trigger and more of something that makes me a little uncomfortable. biography

Youth/Childhood

Born to Thomas and Martha Wayne, considered to be the Prince of Gotham. At 4 years old, he fell into the caves beneath the manor, which lead to a fear of tight spaces and bats that was almost debilitating. At eight years old, his parents were gunned down by Joe Chill when taking a shortcut through Crime Alley as they were leaving the Monarch Theatre after watching the Mark of Zorro, leaving the boy an orphan to be raised by the family butler Alfred Pennyworth. Who over the next couple of years became the closest thing Bruce had to a father, despite the man’s insistence he was not replacing Bruce’s parents.At fifteen Bruce ran away in the middle of the night, leaving only a note for Alfred to apologize, and caught a plane to begin his pilgrimage of training in all sorts of martial arts, fighting styles, and various other skills. Learning a list of skills from forensic skills, to inventing and escape artistry. Bruce pushed his body to its absolute limits before returning to Gotham at the age of 25 to set out in his goal of trying to make Gotham a better place and keep what happened to him from happening to anyone else with a vow that he’d never kill anyone.

Batman: The Early Years And Onwards

During his first year, Bruce struggled with a lot of trial and error and after having an epiphany of sorts involving a bat crashing through the window of his study, he made the choice to use his childhood fear of bats as a weapon, to make the criminals of Gotham afraid of him and prove that he could control his own fears rather than letting them control him. Thus adopting the moniker of the Batman, which quickly became known as some kind of cryptid across Gotham’s underground and corrupt police force.He eventually managed to build a rapport with then Police Lieutenant James Gordon, which worked from an unsteady alliance into a friendship that continued even after Jim was anointed as Police Commissioner. The allegiance was furthered with the addition of the Bat Signal to the rooftop of the GCPD, only to be activated should the police actually need the Batman. During this time he did come to the realization that vengeance wasn’t all he had to be, he had to be hope for the people who had none, especially when larger criminals began popping up (I.E The Rogue’s Gallery). Batman became the symbol that protects the innocent people of Gotham no matter what.

It was during this time that he came to take Dick Grayson under his wing, a young boy who had lost his family and eventually became Robin and Batman’s protege.He went on to adopt one other boy, named Jason Todd after Dick was retired as Robin and left for Bludhaven. Jason was unfortunately killed by Joker, a death Bruce never fully forgave the clown for. He did vow not to take in another Robin until Tim Drake, who found his secret identity through Nightwing and led back to the first Boy Wonder and Bruce Wayne. After an instance on the young boy’s part and heavy and difficult training with both Nightwing and himself, Bruce let Tim take up Robin. (Note: other bat families will have to be discussed! I am not overly familiar with them!)
